At the close of 2019, we decided to start a CSA at our farm on North Norton .
It's been our hope to be able to provide fresh, seasonal, and locally grown vegetables to our beautiful community, our friends, our family, and our village.
We hope to provide an opportunity for our farm to become a classroom to our local schools, a model to others wanting to farm, and an environment where we continually learn, experiment, and grow.
With all the heartache and challenges of the 2020 growing season, we decided to give away our entire harvest to the people in our wonderful community.
We will continue our grow and give program and donate to our local food bank in hopes of spreading the love.
Community supported agriculture, or CSA, is a way to support your local farms or growers and buy local, seasonal food directly from them.
A farm offers a certain number of "shares" to the public.
Typically the share will consist of produce, and possibly other farm products. Consumers purchase a share (or a membership/subscription) and in return receive a box (bag, basket) of seasonal offerings each week throughout the farming season.
We have sincerely enjoyed getting to know and serving our community with fresh offerings from our first harvest yield.
Please fill out our form to keep up with us at The Village Farm and reserve your share of fresh local produce!
